Neil A. Velleca, 85, of Hamden, loving husband of Lucille (Selmont) Velleca, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2022 at CT Hospice, surrounded by family. He was born in New Haven on May 9, 1937, the son of the late Anthony and Rafaela Covone Velleca. Besides his wife Lucille, he is survived by his children; Neil Velleca, Jr. and his wife Ann, Cheryl Velleca, and Keith Velleca and his wife Edlira Muratas, sister, Joan Velleca, and grandchildren; Holly, Evan, and Olivia Velleca. After graduating from Wilbur Cross High School in 1955, Neil received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Quinnipiac College. He proudly and honorably served in the 1 ^st Battalion, 102 ^nd Infantry Regiment of the United States National Guard during the 1960's. He went on to work for Seward and Monde Certified Public Accountants for over 40 years until his retirement. After retiring he served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors at The Commons at Mill River for 6 years.

Friends are invited to visit with Neil's family on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
