Nereida Torres, 63, of Meriden, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 17, 2023. Born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico on November 5, 1959, a daughter of the late Benito Torres and Carmen Rodriguez, she is survived by her sons; Jose Perez (Erin Glorioso), Wilfredo Perez, and Luis Perez (Blanca Rosario), and daughter Maria Piña; and was loved by all 11 Grandkids; Lucia Perez, Colleen Perez, Alexander Perez, Ava Perez, Sofia Perez, Luis Perez-Rosario, Alex Perez-Rosario, Sebastián Perez-Rosario, Juan Piña, Victor Piña and Nereida Piña.

Friends are invited to visit with Nereida's family on Tuesday, February 21st from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow Wednesday, February 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center St., Meriden.
