Meriden - Nettie Jane Taylor, 91, wife of the late John Taylor passed away on Tuesday, March 14 at Miller Memorial Community. She was born July 28, 1914 in China Grove, Alabama a daughter of the late Gordon and Velma (Davis) Tidmore. She had lived in New York moving to Connecticut in the mid-80's. She was a member of South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church. She is survived by a sister, Idella Orzell of South Meriden, a brother, Marvin Otis Tidmore of Tuscaloosa, AL, a special niece, Julia Kane of Meriden who took care of her for the last 21 years, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers; Clyde Tidmore, W. Chester Tidmore and Daniel Tidmore and two sisters, Alma Tidmore and Ella V. Lalla. Funeral service Saturday, March 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 9-9:30 a.m. prior to the service.
