MERIDEN - Nevada T. Moran, 69, of 60 Hanover St., died Monday, July 11, 2005 at MidState Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Melanie Kay Corey Moran. Born in Presque Isle, Maine on Jan. 8, 1936, he was the son of the late Wallace and Alfrieda Moran. He served two tours of duty with the US Army in Korea from 1953 to 1958 and until his retirement had worked as a security guard at Carabetta Company. He is survived by three sons, Terry Moran of Meriden, James Moran of Bath, Maine and Daniel Moran of Southington; and a granddaughter, LeAnne Moran of Bath, Maine. He was predeceased by three brothers, Basil Moran, Laurel Moran and Ronald Moran and a siser, Marcy Moran. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
