Bernardoni, Patricia Anne Patricia Anne Sloane Bernardoni passed into eternal life at Noble Horizons Nursing Home on Sunday, March 9, 2008. Beloved wife of Val Bernardoni, she was born to Hubert V. and Marie (McRoberts) Sloane on April 9, 1934 in Hamden, CT. She was raised in Hamden and attended school there where she met her husband, Val. Pat graduated from New Haven State Teacher's College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Pat taught in Cheshire and did substitute work in Hamden as she raised her family of 5 children, a dog, a couple of cats and a few ducks. She did volunteer PTA work for many years. Pat is survived by her husband of 52 years, three sons; Steven and his wife Denise of Bristol, Paul and his wife Mindy of Bradford, RI and Ronald and his wife Sheri of Oakville; two daughters; Valerie Fazzino and her husband Joseph of Wolcott and Donna Stroeter of Clinton; a brother, Hubert Sloane of White Plains, NY; thirteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, three sisters; Elsie Bobeck, Nancy Dunham, and Doreen Stamatien; and a nephew, Frank Bobeck, Jr. Funeral Service Wed., March 12 at 10 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 12 Main Street, Salisbury, CT.
