Mazan, Patricia Ann In New Haven, September 11, 2008, Patricia A. Mazan, 75, of 151 Cold Spring St, New Haven, CT, sister of Lucian, Stanley, Raymond, and the late Paul, Richard, Wanda, and Constance Mazan. She was born in New Haven in 1933, a daughter of the late Frank Mazan and Helen Tokarz Mazan. She gained her BA from Southern CT University in 1963, and a Master's degree in Science from Southern CT University in 1969. She taught in the Los Angeles public school system and subsequently in the New Haven School system before changing professions to become a social worker in the Department of Social Services of Bridgeport, CT. She was a talented musician, and played with the New Haven Symphony as a young woman. In later life, she was an avid traveler and collector of antiques, as well as a lover of the arts. Funeral arrangements, under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN, are private.
