Paul E. Mester, age 61, of Hamden, passed away at Conn. Hospice in Branford on January 16, 2019. Paul was born in New Haven on November 9, 1957. He is survived by his wife Theresa (Acampora) Mester; his daughter Nicole Korb & her husband Andrew of South Burlington, VT; and his son Joe Mester & his partner Emily Cook of Milton, VT. Paul has been a dedicated employee at Yale University for the past 25 years, he currently was the Associate Director of their Alumni Association. Paul was an avid golfer, he enjoyed vacationing at Myrtle Beach whenever possible, and was also a NY Yankee fan. Friends may visit with his family on Saturday, Jan, 19th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. During this time a Prayer Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Following the service, friends are invited to attend a reception in his honor from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Rose Alumni House, 232 York Street, New Haven.
