MERIDEN - Paula K. Burke, 32, of 581 Crown Village, Meriden, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003 at home, after a long fight with leukemia. She passed quietly, surrounded by her family. Ms. Burke was born in Meriden on Oct. 17, 1971, the daughter of Charles and Charlotte Burke and was a lifelong residen of Meriden. Besides her parents, she leaves two sons, Daniel Hanscom and Jacob Hanscom of Bristol; one daughter, Makayla Taylor of Meriden; a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Derick Rodriquez of Winsted; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jeffrey and Rebecca Burk of Waterbury, Chuck and Amy Burke of Southington and Barry Burke and Ann Dow of Meriden; two special aunts, Lois Caldwell of Bangor, ME and Deanna Boland of Cyprus, TX and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Friday, Nov. 21, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
