Meriden-Paulino 'Tio Pablo' Muniz, 78, devoted and loving husband of the late Carmen Muniz, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016. He was born December 2, 1937 in Moca, Puerto Rico to the late Elias and Saturnina (Hernandez) Muniz. He was a talented handyman and a loving godfather or 'father' to many of his nieces and nephews, and will be forever missed. He is survived by a daughter, Cinda Acosta of Meriden, a grandson, Denzel Acosta and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers and one sister. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 12 at 11am at Hubbard Chapel at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Rd., Meriden. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden is in charge of the arrangements.
