Peter TC Cheng, 88, of Orange, Connecticut, passed away January 8, 2018 after a brief illness. He is survived by wife Caroline Fong-Cheng, son Pierson, daughter-in-law Eileen and grandchildren Hannah, Josiah, and Ethan Cheng. Peter, a follower of Christ, was a resident of Orange for over 40 years, as well as the owner and chef of Peter Cheng's China Garden in New Haven. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Monday, January 15, 2018 in the chapel of the Gateway Christian Fellowship, 129 Bull Hill Lane, West Haven from 9-10 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery, Woodbridge.
