Peter Toten Wickham, Jr, 77, of Leonard St., Hamden, husband of the late Frances Wickham, passed away on November 23, 2009 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. He was born in Athol, MA on February 4, 1932 to the late Peter T. and Florence Barney Wickham, Sr. Peter is survived by his two sons, Michael Wickham of Hamden and John Wickham of Senica, SC; grandchildren, Nichole, Jonathan, and Chris Wickham all of Lithia, FL; siblings, David Wickham of Belchertown, MA, Margaret Wickham of Denver, CO, and Betty Halet and her husband Buddy of Barefoot Bay, FL. Peter grew up in Athol, MA before moving to Hamden 50 years ago. After graduating from high school he enlisted in the Air Force where he was an Air Traffic Controller. He was a dedicated parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church, enjoyed any Massachusetts sports team, and always cherished the time spent with his family. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT on Friday, November 27th at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at Blessed Sacrament Church, Circular Ave., Hamden. Friends may visit with the family earlier in the day from 9:30 to 11:30a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Centerville Cemetery.
