Philip David Riccio , 72, passed away in peace at his Hamden home on January 10, 2015. Born in Hamden on February 4, 1942. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, he worked as a postman for most of his career. He leaves his beloved daughter, Regina Munzu; son-in-law and grandchildren; brother, Eugene Munzu and two sisters, Jean Carboni and Dorena Tremley. Friends may visit with his family at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Friday, January 16th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. followed by a burial with Military Honors in the Middletown Veterans Cemetery.
