Phyllis E. Bigelow, 82, wife of the late Charles E. Bigelow, passed away on Friday December 2, 2016 at Masonicare, Wallingford. She was born in Worcester, MA on June 12, 1934 to the late Frank E. and Louise Bryant Tuttle. She is survived by 2 stepchildren, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis worked for Greyhound and Peter Pan Bus Co. for many years in Worcester, New Haven, and Hartford. In her free time she was a proud member of the Stella #3 and Golden Rod Chapter #34 of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 60 years. Friends are invited to visit with Phyllis's family on Friday, December 9, from 5-7pm in the BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. West Haven. The Golden Rod Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star Service will be held at 7pm following the visitation. Interment will be held in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol, MA on Saturday, December 10, at 11:30am.
