MERIDEN-Phyllis K. Poulin, 82, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2018 at Apple Rehab Coccomo. She was the beloved wife of the late Jean Paul Poulin. Daughter of the late Raymond Kroeber and Hazel Ives Mancini, Phyllis was born in Meriden on January 14, 1936. She was a devoted member of St. John Lutheran Church in Meriden and worked for 26 years as the office manager for ABF Transportation. Phyllis was a true animal lover, often contributing donations for animal welfare. She also volunteered her time helping with patient transportation to local hospitals. A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Phyllis is survived by her children, Paul G. Poulin of Methuen, MA, Anita Kirner (Richard) of Sherman, Gary Poulin (Cathy) of Meriden, and Barry Poulin (Cate) of Meriden; four grandchildren, Amy and John Kirner, and Andrew and Danielle Poulin; siblings, Wesley Mancini (Bob Scheer) and Judy Augur; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother-in-law, Fred Augur. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Phyllis' family on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4:00-8:00PM at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Funeral service will take place Saturday, March 10 at 11:00AM at St. John Lutheran Church, 520 Paddock Ave., Meriden. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden.
