Ralph J. D'Amora, age 89, of North Haven, passed away on August 22, 2014. Born in New Haven on July 8, 1925, he was a son of the late Louis & Ginevra Coscarelli D'Amora. Ralph, a loving husband and father, is survived by his wife, Irma Catania D'Amora; his sons, Bruce D'Amora & his wife Nancy of New Milford, CT and Robert D'Amora& his wife Robyn of Parkland, FL; grandchildren, Allison, Paul, Nicole, Isabella, Sophia & Luca D'Amora; sister in-law Saba Tozzo and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, John, Fred & Frank D'Amora. Ralph was a WWII Army Veteran and was a retired salesman for the former American Greetings Company. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying playing tennis and golfing, and his many activities at the Hamden Senior Center. Friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on Wednesday Aug. 27th, at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Whitney Ave, Hamden. His funeral and burial with Military Honors will be private. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER& BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden.
