In West Haven, March 28, 2001, Ralph Burgess Kennedy 47, of 37 Valley View Dr., Hamden, husband of Ret. MSG Susan Kennedy. He was born Oct. 8, 1953 a son of the late George C. and Mattie Stokes Kennedy. He retired in 1991 as a Sargent First Class after 20 years of service in the U.S. Army Medical Services Corp. Since his discharge from the Army, he had been an LPN at various nursing homes including Clintonville Manor and most recently worked for Maxim Healthcare Services. He was continuing his eduaction to earn a degree in nursing administration. Besides his wife, Mr. Kennedy is survived by daughters, Trina L. Kennedy of Baltimore, MD and Jennifer L. Kennedy of Hamden, sons, Vernon C. Kennedy of McEwen, TN, Kevin S. Kennedy and Vincent E. Kennedy both of Hamden, a brother, George W. Kennedy of Augusta, GA, two sisters, Karen O'Bryant of Germantown, MD and Patricia Lewis of Cleaves, OH and a granddaughter, Olivia Ann Kennedy of McEwen, TN. He was predeased by a brother Frank C.
