Ralph Anthony Panagrosso, Sr. age 88, of Marlin Dr., North Haven, passed away Sept. 15, 2008. Ralph was the husband of the late Theresa DeAngelo Panagrosso; father of Ralph A. & his wife Mary-Ellen Panagrosso, Jr. of Woodbury; grandfather of Tony, Amanda, Aidan and Taylor Panagrosso; great grandfather of Julien Panagrosso and brother of Louise Pottino, Mary Mazza, and Mario, William, Paul and Gerry & Fred Panagrosso. Ralph was born in Naples, Italy on Jan. 9, 1920, a son of the late Felice and Vincenza Giampitro Panagrosso. Ralph was a printer, retired from the former Bussmann Press Co. in North Haven. A WWII Army Veteran he was the recipient of 3 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. Ralph enjoyed wood carving and painting in his retirement years. Relatives and Friends may attend a Graveside Funeral Service with Military Honors on Friday, Sept. 19, 2008 at 11 AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, Whitney Ave., Hamden.
