Raymond Gustave Linke, 86, of Hamden died Monday, March 17, 2008 in West Haven. Husband of Audrey Cable Linke, he is also survived by daughters Sharyn Farr of Rotonda West, FL, Robin DeLucia (John) of Hamden, Dee Don (Bob) of Milford, son Gary Linke (Kerry) of Hamden, sister Arline Morgan of Wallingford, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Linke was predeceased by a brother Charles Linke and 2 sisters Mildred Condon and Marion Frith. A son of the late Gustave and Harriet Miller Linke, he was born in West Haven on November 10, 1921. Mr. Linke was an automotive machinist/foreman with L. H. Weiner and a foreman with Nizen Motors. He was a member of the Roaring 20's Antique & Classic Car Club, a member of Christ Church in New Haven and a Navy Veteran of WW II. Friends may visit with the family Thursday, March 20 from 4-8 pm at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. A memorial service at Christ Church in New Haven will be scheduled at a later date.
