MERIDEN - Raymonde Gifford, 76, of 15 Sunbright Drive, North, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Westfield Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Myron Gifford. Born in Sacred Heart, Canada on Sept. 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Delia Roderick Jacques. She had been employed in the cafeteria at Hanover School and was a member of Holy Angels Church. She is survived by three daughters, JoAnn Buksa and Debra LeHerissier, both of Meriden and Sherry Puzzo of Waterbury; two sisters, Theresa Macri and Madeleine Jacques, both of Wallingford; three brothers, Clem Jacques of Middlefield, Rocky Jacques and Robert Jacques, both of Meriden; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The Rev. Roland LaPlante will officiate. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT.
