Richard W. DeMarco, age 65, of Hamden, passed away March 25, 2018. Born in New Haven on October 17, 1952, he was the son of the late Dominick and Kathleen (McGillicuddy) DeMarco. Beloved brother of Patricia D'Ambrose & her husband Gene of Hamden; uncle of Karen (Michael) Bogrette of Hamden and Robert (Tina) Romandetti of Hamden; great-uncle of Gianna Romandetti and Tyler Bogrette, and nephew of Antoinette Ianniello & James Cifarelli. He also is survived by several cousins. Richard retired from the Town of Hamden as a Foreman in the Building Maintenance Department, where he worked for over 22 years. His Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2018 in Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may also visit with his family at the funeral home prior to his service from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
