Richard Zimmer, Jr., 67, of 53 Parkview Rd., Wallingford, formerly of Marion Dr., North Haven, beloved and dear, loving husband and friend of Beverly Pantalone Zimmer, died April 3, 2006 with his family beside him. Born in Meriden August 2, 1938, the son of the late Richard Zimmer Sr. and Amelia Louis Zimmer. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Steven Zimmer of Moodus and Richard (Ida) Zimmer, and one grandchild, Joshua Lyons of Southington, his sister Cindi (Paul) Gagliardi and brother Les (Sharon) Zimmer both of Southington, cousin Mary Lou Patterson of New Port Richey, FL, sister-in-law Diane Zimmer of Meriden, and much loved nieces and nephews. Also survived by three step-children, Richard (Randy) Parks of Cromwell and their son Ross, and Dawn (Rob) Upright of No. Grafton, MA and their son Nicholas and Gaelle Parks of Milford. He was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Robert Zimmner and an aunt, Lucille Bini. A future private family service will be held to celebrate the life of this quiet, gentle, kind soul.
