Meriden - Richard F. Reiske 76, husband of Anne Ivers Reiske passed away on Tuesday, July 27 at MidState Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1927 in Meriden a son of the late Frances and Mary (Coffey) . Richard worked in the Finance Department for the City of Meriden until his retirement in 1991. He attended the Pequot Business School and was a volunteer for the Maryheart Crusaders. Besides his wife Anne, he leaves three sons, Lee Reiske and his companion Bill Cusano of Meriden, Tom and his wife Shelly Reiske of Alabama and Chad and his wife Mandi Reiske of Alabama and a sister, Elaine LaButis of Meriden. He also leaves four grandchildren, Erica, Madison, Hunter and Ryan Reiske all of Alabama, several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 31 at 10:30am at St. Joseph's Church, West Main St., Meriden. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Britain. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Friday, July 30 from 4-9pm.
