Resor Professor of Economics, Emeritis, Yale University, husband of Caridad Navarrete Ruggles of 100 Prospect St., New Haven, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2001 peacefully at home. Father of Patricia Ruggles of Washington, DC., Catherine J. Ruggles of Los Angeles, CA. and Steven Ruggles of Minneapolis, MN., brother of Catherine Ruggles Gerrish of Cambridge, MA., Rebecca Ruggles of N.Y.C., and the late John Holmes Ruggles. Funeral service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., at Court St., West Haven, CT, Friday, March 9 at 11 AM. Rev. Robert Raine will officiciate. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8PM. Burial in Grove Street Cemetery.
