Robert William Belfonti, 56, of Hamden entered into rest May 4, 2004. Robert was born in New Haven, July 6, 1947 a son of the late Americo and Helen Paolini Belfonti. He is the loving father of Jolene and Brenda Lee Belfonti and the beloved brother of Marie Shannon of Miami, FL, Richard (Connie) Belfonti of North Haven, Arnold (Jean) Belfonti of New Haven, John (Sharon) Belfonti of Orange. He leaves a very special nephew, Michael Belfonti of Hamden, several other nieces and nephews, his former wife Brenda Belfonti of East Haven and his friend, Nora Wiedenbach. Bob was retired from the SCSU Maintenance Dept. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Friday, May 7 at 9:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of St. Anthony, 70 Washington Ave., New Haven at 10 a.m. Friends may call Thursday (TODAY) from 4-7 p.m. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
