Robert M. Boyce In Hamden, August 16, 2001, Robert M. Boyce 92, husband of Shirley Albin Shumway Boyce of Centerbrook Rd., He was born in New Haven, March 9,1909 son of the late Clarence and Julia LaFountain Boyce. Predeceased by a brother, Paul Boyce. He was a WW II Navy veteran and was Postmaster on the USS Stanton. He retired after 30 years of service as a Postal Clerk and also had been a photographer for Loring Studios. He was a member of Cheshire Philatelic Society and American Legion Post # 88. Funeral service at Hamden Plains United Methodist Church, Monday, Aug. 20 at 10 A.M. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
