Robert H. Denison Robert H. Denison, 84, formerly of 283 Cook Ave., Meriden, died Friday, March 1, 2002 at the Meriden Nursing Center, he was the husband of the late Alexandra Smallon Denison. He was born in Meriden on Sept. 11, 1917 a son of the late George H. and Marie Lambert Denison. He worked at Verdolini's Restaurant in Meriden as a cook for many years. He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Hazlett and her husband, John Hazlett of Meriden, Judith Harrison and the late Howard Harrison of Columbus, GA, five grandchildren, Paul Hazlett and his wife Shari Hazlett of Minneapolis, MN, Julie Algaran of Meriden, Dr. Amy Harrison of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jill Bergeron of Georgia, Victory Harrison of Georgia and six great-grandchildren, Nelson Algaran, Emily Algaran, Allyson Algaran all of Meriden, Abby Hazlett of Minneapolis, MN, Jake Garcia and Harrison Begeron both of Georgia, two sisters, Pauline Bruenn of Middletown and June Schipritt of Florida. He was predeceased by a brother, George Denison. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will be private.
