Robert P. Gamache

Robert P. Gamache, 96, husband of the late R. Carol Gamache, passed away July 30, 2026. Father of James and his wife Denise Gamache of Wallingford, David Gamache of Wallingford, and the late Gary Gamache. Grandfather of Matthew Gamache and the late Kevin Gamache. Great-grandfather of Campbell and Nina Gamache. He was also predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Kallert, and a brother, Paul Gamache.

Bob was born in New Haven April 6, 1930, a son of the late Paul and Margaret Meyer Gamache, and had resided in North Haven for over 50 years before moving to Wallingford. He proudly served in the US Army in West Germany from 1950-1952 and received a BS degree from New Haven College. Bob was employed with Northeast Utilities as an electrical engineer for 35 years before his retirement, and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of New Haven, where he served as Treasurer.
