Robert 'Bob' Henry Meyers, 91, of Derby, passed away after a long and full life on February 1, 2014. He was born in Logansport, Indiana on February 21, 1922 to the late Henry and Margaret (Bennett) Meyers. Bob spent his early life in New Haven and later moved to Derby. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran having served during WWII. Bob is survived by his nieces, Donna Meyers and her partner Birdie Hunter of Santa Cruz, CA, Barbara Meyers and her partner, Gene Gehlbach of Mazatlan, Mexico; nephew, John Meyers and his wife Cory of Santa Cruz, CA; great-nieces, Casey, Cameron and Molly Meyers of Santa Cruz, CA; great-nephews, Pat and Michael Ray of Discovery Bay, CA. He is also survived by dear friends, Harvey Paulin, Susan Way and Patty Sheron all of Derby. Bob was predeceased by his brother, Donald Meyers.
