Robert J. LaHaye, 80, of Meriden, passed away on February 14, 2024 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. He was born on November 13, 1943, a son of the late Charles and Stacia Murdzek LaHaye. Robert is survived by his children, Robert LaHaye, Sandra Chaparro and her husband Julio, and Ann DeJesus, his sister Francis Grosse, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Charles LaHaye, Jr. and Thaddeus LaHaye.
A funeral service celebrating Robert's life will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Friends may visit with his family from 10:00-11:00 a.m. before the service. Interment will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Meriden.
