Robert R. Oertel, 88, of Evergreen Ave., Hamden wonderful husband to Dorothy K. Oertel for 66 yrs., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 26, 2007. He was born in Meriden, April 7, 1919 to the late Eric and Anna Rasmussen Oertel. Besides his wife he leaves his brother Irving Oertel and was predeceased by his brother Donald Oertel. A graveside service will be held at Centerville Cemetery, Hamden on Thursday, June 28 at 11 a.m. BEECHER & BENNETT in care of arrangements.
