Robert Verneris - 7/14/33 - 2/1/05, missed will be his good humor and willingness to help others. Robert leaves his wife Shirley, daughter Lana and son Carl. He was the son of the late Henry and Rose Verneris. Robert retired from the Town of Hamden after many years as the Superintendent of Parks and Recreation. With sincere appreciation to: UConn Medical Center, Midstate VNA, Midstate Medical Center, Meriden Center, Hunters Ambulance, Meriden Fire Department, Father Nadolny, family, friends and neighbors. A funeral service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Sat., Feb. 5, 2005 at 10 AM, friends may call 1 hour prior to the service from 9 to 10 AM. Interment will be in Centerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
