Ronald "Ron" Richard Zachey, 81, of North Haven passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline Cusano- Zachey for 52 years.

Ron was born in New Haven on March 21st, 1943. He is the son of the late Edward and Marie DellaRocco- Zachey. He leaves behind his son Ronald Zachey and his loving granddaughter, Taylor Zachey. He is also survived by his brother and sister in law, Edward and Judy Pierpont, and nephew, Edward "Eddie" Pierpont. He is predeceased by his sister, Barbara Brown and grandson, Ronald Zachey Jr. He also leaves behind many friends and cousins.

Ron is the proud owner of Coach Auto Body on State St. in North Haven, since 1978. He devoted himself to his business for over 45 years. He appreciates all the life long friends he made, his loyal employees that became like family, and customers that supported him over the years. In addition to his business, he enjoyed landscaping his home, and enjoying frequent dinners with his granddaughter.

Ron's family would like to thank his nephew, Eddie Pierpont, for the care he has given Ron over the past few months. A special thank you to the staff at Regency House, Wallingford, where he passed away, peacefully.
