Rose L. Eisenberg, 93, of the Mary Wade Home, New Haven, died Thurs., Sept. 16, 2004. She was the wife of the late Julius Eisenberg. Born in New York City daughter of the late Harry and Anna Tarter Eisenberg. She was a teacher in New York City prior to her retirement. She is survived by daughters, Alice Mattison and her husband, Edward of New Haven and Savita Eisenberg of Montain View, CA, a sister, Harriet Stein and 3 grandsons, Jacob, Ben, and Andrew Mattison and a great-grandaughter, Nina Mattison. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Sarah Chudnof, Phyllis Karp and Clare Matlin and a brother, Ben Tarter. Memorial service will be private.
