In Hamden, Oct. 16, 2005, Rose Hallquist, 93, formerly of Whitney Commons, wife of the late Robert L. Hallquist to whom she was married for 50 years, mother of Roberta L. Brown and her husband, Dr. Thomas Brown of Hamden, grandmother of Elizabeth Brown Somilleda of Redondo Beach, CA and David E. Brown of Los Angeles, CA and great-grandmother of Noah Thomas Somilleda. Sister of the late Bernard and Joseph Intogna and the late Violet Baker. She was born in Chicago, IL, June 30, 1912, daughter of the late Gustav and Carmela Gennaro Intogna. Until her retirement she worked as an office manager and bookkeeper for a small business in Illinois. Mrs. Hallquist was a member of Whitneyville Congregational Church. Funeral service Sat., Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may call Fri., from 6-8 p.m.
