Rose Jackson, 98, passed away on January 7, 2024. Born in New Haven on August 20, 1925 to the late Domingo and Amelia Alves Pires. Rose will be remembered by her siblings, Lorraine DeLuz, Louise Pires, Kathleen Rogers, and Antonio DeLuz, granddaughters, Deonna Hargrove and Tameka Mendez, her great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Predeceased by her son, George Jackson, Jr.

Friends may visit with her family on Saturday, January 20 ^th , from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in St. Martin de Porres Church, 136 Dixwell Ave., New Haven, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in church.
