In CT Hospice April 29, 2008, Rose A. Rapuano Pannella, 92, wife of the late Salvatore D. Pannella of Orange. Mother of Rocco Pannella of Hamden, mother of Lucia Pannella with whom Rose resided in Orange, and Dolores (Gerald) Butcher of Orange. Grandmother of Bryan (Rebecca) Butcher and Susan (Richard) Reich and great grandmother of Brandon Butcher. Sister of the late Pasquale Rapuano and Philomena Lucibello. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Rose was born in New Haven. Daughter of the late Salvatore and Lucia Rapuano. She was co-owner with her husband of Puritan Cleaners on Dixwell Ave. in New Haven. In the 1950's Rose was President of St. John the Baptist Mother's Club. She was a member and player of the Michigan Rummy Club as well as being an avid reader. The funeral will be leaving BEECHER AND BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. corner of Court Street, West Haven on Friday at 10:15 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Infant Church, 450 Race Brook Road, Orange at 11 o'clock. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 9 to 10:15 AM.
