Darrow, Rufus In Hamden, Sept. 16, 2001, Rufus Darrow, 91, husband of Betty Cummings Darrow of 80 Thornton St., stepfather of Elizabeth Eppsteiner of Framingham, MA and Kenneth Schnelle of Oakland, CA, step-grandfather of Robert and George Eppsteiner. He was born in New York, NY, July 15,1910 a son of the late Daniel Darrow. He was a graduate of Yale University class of 1933 and worked as a stockbroker for White, Weld & Co. and retired in 1975. He was a 53 year member of Racebrook Country Club where he was an outstanding golfer. Funeral service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Wed., Sept. 19 at 2:30 p.m. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Grove Street Cemetery.
