Ruth Evelyn Dyer passed away Thurs., Jan. 8, 2004. She was born in Stamford, CT, a daughter of the late Frederick and Vera VanDoran Dyer and was a lifelong resident of Darien before moving to Clinton in Jan of 2000. She had worked as a secretary to the late Dr. Giles, Opthomoligist of Stamford for 55 years. Her love for her church and home was her life. She leaves cousins, Audrey Winters of Stamford, CT, Eleanor Morris of Belleville, IL, Lydia Hagen of New Haven, Doris Baldwin of Branford, and Sandra Allen of Clinton. Service of interment will be Tues., Jan. 13 at 1 p.m. in the Whitneyville Cemetery, Hamden. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
