McMahon, Ruth (Schaefer) of Hingham, MA, formerly of Cheshire, CT and East Haven, CT, passed away December 10, 2008 after a long illness. Beloved wife of the late John McMahon. Loving mother of Cindy & husband John Cvarch, and Cathy & husband Paul McGovern, all of Hingham. Loving grandmother of Ben Cvarch and Kevin McGovern. Ruth worked at Yale University for over 30 years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Old Stone Church, 251 Main Street, East Haven, CT at Noon on Saturday, December 20.
