Sally Ann McMahon, 46, of Burke Heights Dr, Wallingford, beloved wife of Kevin Jensen, passed away on February 15, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Fort Dix, NJ on April 10, 1962 to the late Larry and Sandy Blish Brisson.Besides her husband, Sally leaves her two stepchildren, Wendy Shea of New Haven and Matthew Jensen of Wallingford, and her sister, Amy Brisson and fiance John Clark both of Hanover.Sally grew up in Hanover and graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1980. She attended UCONN where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Hartford Hospital, in the ER and later the ICU, is where she started her carrier before working at YNHH. Sally has been a Hospice Nurse for the last ten years. She started as a Home Care Nurse and moved into management at the CT Hospice in Branford. Sally was an active member on the executive board for the Church of Eternal Light and the Harvest Home Gathering. Sally was passionately engaged in her large community of friends.A Funeral Service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Saturday, February 21st at 12 noon. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 12.
