Sara Gibertoni

Sara Gibertoni, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, at the age of 92. She was born in New Haven on April 15, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Teresa Carrolla. She leaves behind her daughter, Gail Larson, and her husband, Thomas Larson, her grandchildren, Thomas “Tommy” Larson and his wife Aly, her granddaughter, Erica Larson, and her fiancé, James Pinelli, and her great grandsons, Hayden and Tyler Larson. She joins her husband, Erio Gibertoni, and her daughter, Sandra Gibertoni, in Heaven. She was also predeceased by her sisters Barbara Carrolla and Marie Carrolla.

Sara’s most precious gifts in life were her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandsons. Family was her heart and soul. She will always be remembered as part of the wonderful and loving “PapaYaya” duo with her husband. She will remain in our hearts forever… May she rest in peace.
