Saroj D. Mehta, 74, of 38 Farmview Rd., Bethany, formerly of 40 Falmouth Street, Milford, passed away March 27, 2005 at her residence. Born in Ahmedabad, India on November 8th, 1930, daughter of the late Raghavji and Jayaben Gandhi. She was the beloved wife of Dayalal Mehta, mother of Prashant Mehta and his wife, Varsha. Sister to Rajani Doshi of Milford, Narendra Gandhi of Milford, Dilip Gandhi of Orange, Pravina Mehta of West Haven, and the late Sushila Mehta of Mumbai, India. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Akash, Akshay and Shraiya. Saroj along with Dayalal are responsible for bringing their entire extended family into the United States twenty-five years ago. A wake will be held on Tuesday (TODAY) March 29th from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning from 9 - 11 a.m. Both services will take place at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven.
