Sharon A. Beegan

Sharon Alyce (Eiche) Beegan, 74, of Meriden, loving wife of the late James Beegan, passed away on September 16, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born in Wallingford on October 20, 1951, the only child of Bruce and Alice Eiche. Sharon is survived by her sons Kevin Beegan and his partner Margie, Timothy Beegan and his wife Eileen, her grandchildren Kevin Beegan Jr., Brian Beegan and his wife Megan, James Beegan, her great-grandchildren Kevin Beegan III, Baylee Beegan, Jack Fike, Oliver Fike, Nolan Beegan and James Beegan.

After graduating from Lyman Hall High School, she went on to Eastern CT State University receiving a bachelor’s degree and eventually landed at S.N.E.T where she worked for many years until her retirement. Sharon was a true musician at heart. She was a member of community bands through the Meriden and Cheshire Senior Center, where she enjoyed entertaining others as a talented singer, dancer, and flute player. She also enjoyed league bowling at Bowlero Bowl in Wallingford. She will be missed by the many dear friends she made over the years who shared the same hobbies.

A funeral service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held on Tuesday September 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Avenue, Meriden. Friends are invited to visit with her family from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
