Obituary

Sharon B. Perry, age 92, passed away on December 7, 2018 at Elim Park in Cheshire. Born in Milford, CT on September 12, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Muriel (Totten) Brotherton. Sharon was the widow of Robert Ellis Perry. She was a resident of Hamden for 25 years prior to residing in Randolph Center, VT for 20 years, and subsequently residing in Cheshire for the last 27 years. She is survived by her daughters Holly P. LaFrance & her husband Kenneth of Cheshire, Wendy Bellmore of East Haven and Robin P. Partyka & her husband Lee Michael of North Haven; grandchildren David T. (Kathleen) LaFrance, Daniel A. (Leanne) LaFrance, Matthew R. (Erica) LaFrance, Erik C. (Sarah) Durant, Andrew T. (Jana) Simon, Amy L. Partyka and Megan P. (Andrew) Dennis; great-grandchildren Devlin R. LaFrance, Amber R. LaFrance, Piper K. LaFrance, Cadence E. LaFrance, Shannon P. LaFrance, Chloe T. LaFrance, Juliet C. LaFrance and Aiden E. Durant, and also survived by many nieces & nephews. Sharon was predeceased by her sister Frances B. Hopkins and brothers Gurdon S. Brotherton & William B. Brotherton. She was a graduate of Milford High School and Endicott Junior College. Sharon was a member of the First Congregational Church in Cheshire, the Cheshire Garden Club and Ladies Fenwick Chapter DAR. Sharon's family would like to thank the staff of Elim Park for the care and compassion she received during her stay there. Friends may attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Cheshire at 111 Church Drive followed by her burial in Hillside Cemetery, Cheshire. Contributions in Sharon's memory may be made to the First Congregational Church of Cheshire Parish Hall Revival Fund, 111 Church Dr, Cheshire, CT 06410 or to the Cheshire Garden Club Scholarship Fund at www.cheshiregardenclub.org.
