In Derby, May 20, 2003, Shirley Miller Peterson 80, of 117 North State St., Ansonia, wife of Raymond C. Peterson, mother of Helen Verch and her husband, Mark of Meriden, Sharon Kelsey and her husband, Gordon of Ansonia and a son of Bridgeport, sister of Irma Kitchar and Joan Robinofski both of West Haven and the late Geroge Eaton, who was killed in action during WW II. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was born in New Haven, March 25, 1923 a daughter of the late George and Lois Miller Eaton. She was a member of the Eagles Club of Ansonia and Bitteford, Maine. Funeral service at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Friday, May 23 at 11a.m. Friends may call Thursday (TODAY) 4 - 8 p.m. Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
