Shirley Callahan Valentino At her home, Jan. 13, 2002, Shirley Callahan Valentino, 78, of 346 Anderson Ave., Milford, wife of the late Pasquale F. Valentino, mother of Debbie Godfrey of West Haven and Charles Valentino of Clinton, sister of William Callahan of Ft. Meyers, FL, grandmother of Jaclyn Godfrey of West Haven, Stephen Godfrey of North Branford and great-grandmother of Britney Godfrey of North Branford. She was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Harvey. She was born in New Haven, July 23, 1923, a daughter of the late William and Edna Barnes Callahan. She was a sales clerk at the former Alexander's Department Store in Milford for 20 years and retired in 1984. Funeral service at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven, Thurs., Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. Friends may call Wed. from 4 - 8 p.m. Interment in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
