Between the Dash

Suquan Larry McNair was born on December 16, 1982, to the late Larry McNair and Linda Munk-Felder in the city of Passaic, New Jersey. Suquan answered his call and gained his wings peacefully on August 11, 2026.

Suquan graduated from Clifton High School and went on to become an entrepreneur. He confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. When time permitted, he would worship at the Roger Williams Baptist Church in Passaic, NJ, under the divine direction of Dr. W. B. Davidson.

Suquan lived to the fullest, especially when he met and married the love of his life, Cristina “Gina” (Gutierrez) McNair. Through this love story, God blessed them with two beautiful baby girls, Keianna C. (KC) McNair and Addison L. (AL) McNair. Suquan had so much love that it was extended even to Nanoush (Nams), the family cat.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Cristina McNair; two daughters, Keianna and Addison McNair of Meriden, CT; a dedicated mother, Deacon Linda F. Munk-Felder of Hamburg, NJ; a loving father and mother-in-law, Alberto Gutierrez and Victoria Dominguez of Meriden, CT; grandmothers, Maxine Edwards and Manuela Ramos; three brothers (Dashawn, Yasin, and Rashed Gary); three sisters (Akiem (Kosmiek) McKinney, Shakiya Munk, and Aisha McNair; one brother-in-law, Alberto (Pucho0) Gutierrez; two sisters-in-law, Erika and Selena Gutierrez; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Larry McNair; two sisters, Lynda L. Munk and Qiyahma Treadwell; and grandparents, Walter and Johnnie Mae Munk and Frank Edwards.

Suquan touched many lives that cannot be listed, for there is not enough paper to include everyone.

As Job, we say, “The Lord has given and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
