Susan L. Paulsen, age 71, of Hamden passed away July 31, 2024. Born in Biddeford, Maine on June 18, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Celia (Ouellette) Michaud. Susan is survived by her beloved husband Kenneth R. Paulsen; her brother Daniel Michaud and his wife Debbie of New Port Richey, Florida; niece Lisa Michaud of Uncasville, CT; nephew Paul Michaud of Manchester, Maine; and her feline family, Miss Amanda and Miss Bucky. A resident of Hamden most of her life, Susan loved to crochet, making prayer shawls for veterans whenever needed. She also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.
Friends may attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, August 24th at 12:00 p.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Free Church of Woodbridge, 33 Center Road, Woodbridge, CT. 06525. Burial will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Trinity Evangelica Free Church or to The Turtle Hospital, 2396 Overseas Highway, Marathon, FL 33050.
