Saars. Sylvia was born in New Haven, CT on November 28, 1907, daughter of the late Jacob and Freda Shapiro Seigel. She was the owner of the Acme Printing and Mailing Service, a direct mail advertising company . She is survived by nieces: Rhoda Hershatter of New Haven, Brenda Hershatter Friedler of Stamford and Beverly Brody of Rockville, MD, Sandra Epstein of Naples, FL and Barbara Levine of Atlanta, FL, nephews, Attorney Richard Hershatter of Long Boat Key, FL and Clinton, CT and Jack Kitavitz of Hamden. Predeceased by a nephew, Milton Hershatter. Funeral Service will be held at BEECHER AND BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE. , HAMDEN on Monday, September 18, at 1 P.M.
