Theresa (Terry) Burkhard, age 70, passed away on May 1st after a long illness. Born in New Haven, she is the cherished mother of Dan (Minh Thy), Mike, and Kelly (Al), and grandmother to seven. She will be missed by her long-time partner Cecil, her surviving siblings (Tom, Bernadette, Mary), and her siblings-in-law (Rene, Paula, Tom). Terry was proud to attend St. Mary's High School and spent her career at SNET/SBC/AT&T/Frontier Communications.

Terry enjoyed swimming, traveling, and sharing her love of astronomy with fellow grocery store shoppers. She was active in St. Rita Church as a choir member and eucharistic minister. Terry will be interred in a private ceremony, near her parents (George & Eileen) and brother George at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven, Connecticut.
